- Job Description

We’re looking for a curious and passionate Email Marketing Specialist to join the Optimite team with one main mission: to further establish our leadership position in the email marketing space.

In this role, your main focus will be driving all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, competitor analysis, creating a design brief, coordinating with customers, as well as producing content for product launches and daily campaigns. Your main goal will be to create messaging that sets our clients apart from others and communicate value in a clear way.

You will work directly with our Co-Founder Sushant.

Here’s what your first few weeks will look like:

Phase 1: week 1 (Onboarding)

1. Full email audit and getting familiar with our services.
2. Understanding our customers, their target audience, outcomes they are chasing, and language they use.
3. Start working on the action plan for the upcoming campaigns.
   
   
   

Phase 2: week 2 (Familiarising with the Clients)

1. Communicating with clients to develop individual email marketing strategies
2. Start working on updates and preparing design briefs and copies for the new campaigns.
3. Distributing emails through the use of email marketing platforms.
   
   
   

Phase 3: week 3+ (Email Marketing)

1. Start working on updates and new copies for the campaigns, preparing design briefs, coordinating with designers, setting up campaigns in email marketing platforms, analyzing performance stats and finding areas for improvement, creating list segments, cleaning up old list data, setting up custom profile properties, and sunsetting unengaged subscribers, etc.

- Preferred experience

You are curious and have a track record in email marketing and user retention. Your copywriting skills and written English are top-notch.

You will:

• Create email copy in an engaging and relatable way for the target audience
• Communicate with clients to develop individual email marketing strategies, implement them, and create tutorials and full-blown demos for clients.
• Account configuration & training, and the setup and building of flows (such as welcome series, cart abandonment, and browse abandonment email).
• Analyzing performance stats and finding areas for improvement, creating list segments, cleaning up old list data, setting up custom profile properties, and sunsetting unengaged subscribers.
• Educate Optimite clients on how to use different features to achieve their goals.
• Produce clear and error-free email templates.
  
  

Nice to have:

• You’re an official Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Sendinblue, or any other email marketing platform partner.
• You’ve worked with and supported online stores.
• You’re a pro meme creator and can envision the possibilities as you’re writing.
